These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Remontada (the "Service"), a fantasy football platform built around the English Premier League and operated by Remontada ("we", "us").

By creating an account, joining a contest, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years of age (or the higher age required by your local law) to create an account. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

Remontada is intended for entertainment. You are responsible for determining whether your participation is lawful in your jurisdiction and for any taxes owed on any rewards or prizes you may receive.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

One account per person. To keep contests fair, creating or maintaining more than one account is strictly prohibited. We use device fingerprints and IP address signals (as described in our Privacy Policy) to detect multi-accounting. Accounts found to be operated by the same person may be suspended, and associated entries voided, without refund.

Each account corresponds to a single manager profile. You cannot transfer, sell, or share your account with another person.

Remontada offers season-long and weekly contests for the English Premier League. In a contest you join a draft lobby and select a squad of players through a snake draft. Your drafted squad is then scored automatically each gameweek using our best-ball scoring system, which selects your highest-scoring lineup from your squad — no manual lineup management is required.

Contest specifics — including squad size, draft format, entry limits, prize pools, and the scoring rules in effect — are displayed within the Service for each contest and may vary. The rules published in-app for a given contest govern that contest.

A single user may hold a limited number of entries in any one contest (up to 10 per contest, unless stated otherwise in-app). Each entry is independent and competes on its own merits within its assigned league.

Some features may be gated behind a waitlist or limited to invited users prior to public launch. Joining a waitlist does not guarantee entry to any contest.

Draft lobbies fill with a set number of teams. Once full, the draft begins on an automated snake order. Each pick is subject to a timer; if a pick is not made in time the system may auto-pick on your behalf based on available player rankings.

Scoring is computed from official Premier League match statistics obtained from our data providers. We rely on third-party data and are not responsible for delays, inaccuracies, or omissions in source data. Scoring outcomes, once finalized by us, are binding.

Scoring corrections. Because source data (for example, assists or goal credits) may be revised by the Premier League or our data providers after a gameweek completes, we reserve the right to correct scoring errors discovered within a reasonable window after the gameweek. Corrected results will update standings and any affected rewards; no compensation is owed for a result that changes due to an authorized correction.

Best-ball lineup selection is performed automatically by our algorithm and cannot be overridden. The algorithm and its tie-breakers are final.

Where a contest offers rewards or prizes, eligibility and amounts are determined by the contest’s published prize structure. Reward points earned across contests may accumulate on your profile for standing and recognition purposes.

Weekly high-scorer prize. Each completed gameweek, the manager whose entry records the highest single-gameweek score in a weekly contest receives a $50 USD prize. In the event of a tie, the prize is split equally among the tied managers. The prize is awarded at our sole discretion and is subject to verification; winners will be notified through the Service. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to prizes you receive.

We reserve the right to withhold, void, or claw back any reward where an entry or account is found to have violated these Terms, including through multi-accounting, collusion, or other abuse.

Forfeiture upon fraud. If we detect that you have breached the one-account-per-person rule or otherwise engaged in fraud, collusion, or abuse, any rewards, prizes, or reward points associated with the affected entries are forfeited immediately and without refund, in addition to any suspension or termination of your account under Section 12.

You agree not to:

• Create more than one account or assist others in doing so.
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to interact with drafts or the Service.
• Collude with other managers, share accounts, or coordinate draft outcomes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its data.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, voiding of entries, and forfeiture of rewards, without refund or liability to us.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, any contest, or any feature at any time, including during an active contest. We may update scoring rules, contest formats, entry limits, and other game mechanics as the season evolves; such changes will be reflected in-app.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service and are not liable for outages, data provider failures, or events beyond our control.

The Service, its branding, design, and software — including the Remontada name and logo, the best-ball scoring engine, Average Draft Position (ADP) models, player projections, and contest formats — are owned by Remontada and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Player and club names, fixtures, and match statistics are sourced from third-party providers and remain the property of their respective owners. You receive no rights in any of the foregoing beyond a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit platform-derived data (such as ADP or projections) without our written permission.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remontada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of rewards, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Because the Service is offered globally, some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions; in those cases the limitations apply to the extent permitted by law.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; earned rewards may be forfeited where the termination is for cause.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, except where local mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
